Despite rainy weather that likely discouraged some regular attendees from participating, the 2026 Little Haiti Book Festival still drew a strong and enthusiastic audience on Sunday, May 3, at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, where Haitian culture, literature, music, and community pride were celebrated throughout the day. Journalist and poet Jonel Juste presented his books, Carrefour de Nuit (Night Crossroads) and Anba Syèl Ble a, during the annual event.
“Tout Syèl la Klere” se yon istwa ki soti nan liv “Anba Syèl Ble a”, yon seri istwa kout powèt ak nouvelis Ayisyen Jonel Juste ekri an Kreyòl an 2025. “Tout Syèl la Klere” voye nou jis nan ane 2050. Li dekri yon monn revolisyon wobotik ak entèlijans atifisyèl fin transfòme, sa ki gen kòm konsekans gwo chomaj ak plis inegalite ekonomik ak sosyal nan peyi devlope tankou Etazini. Van an vire, Ayiti li menm vin tounen yon peyi opòtinite ki atire imigran. Anpil nan nouvo imigran sa yo se blan k ap chèche lavi nenpòt kote yo ka jwenn ni paske lakay yo pa bon. Aleksann, yon doktè Ayisyen, ap retounen nan peyi li pou al travay Wanament, yon vil k ap devlope e ki chaje opòtinite travay. Eske Aleksann ap jwenn sa l ap chèche nan nouvo Ayiti a?
