C’est un moment important dans la diaspora haïtiano-américaine pour les compatriotes qui vivent au pays de la bannière étoilée. Le mois de mai a été choisi particulièrement parce qu’il correspond à la fête du drapeau haïtien, le 18 mai en Haïti.
