Nous avons assisté à une véritable levée de boucliers dernièrement suite à ce que plus d’un ont perçu comme une attaque contre une icône de la musique haïtienne. On aurait traité notre Shoubou national (et international) de mendiant. L’auteur de la remarque s’est gracieusement excusé et, nous l’espérons, l’incident est clos. Cependant, ce n’est pas la première fois qu’un tel terme a été utilisé à l’endroit d’un artiste…

‘Fabric Of America: Artists In Protest’ Addresses Troubled Times

More than 30 South Florida graffiti artists and illustrators were invited to create protest-themed art on denim jackets for “The Fabric of America: Artists in Protest,” an exhibition launched July 18 by the Museum of Graffiti in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
