Marleine Bastien et Philippe Bien-Aimé s’affrontent pour remplacer Jean Monestime

Six candidats se sont affrontés le mardi 23 août pour succéder à Jean Monestime, commissaire du comté de Miami-Dade, dont le mandat a pris fin. Il n’en reste plus que deux : Marleine Bastien et Philippe Bien-Aimé qui iront au second tour le 8 novembre prochain. Quoi qu’il en soit, le siège de commissaire du district 2 restera haïtien après le départ de Monestime.
