Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson Campus will once again bring the sounds of jazz to downtown Miami with the 27th season of its “Jazz at Wolfson Presents” concert series. Running from September 11, 2024, to April 16, 2025, the series features ten free performances, offering a mix of jazz professionals and student musicians.

Immersive and visionary, Chroma Art Film Festival returns for its second edition

The Chroma Art Film Festival (CAFF) returns for its second edition, proposing a fusion of immersive art and storytelling. Spearheaded by Miami’s Rainbow Oasiiis, the festival, on Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18 at Superblue’s Allapattah location, promises an expanded and reimagined experience compared to its inaugural edition last year.

‘Anything But A Slum’ At Black Police Precinct Revives Miami’s Overtown

An exhibition at the Black Police Precinct and Courthouse Museum sheds light on the cultural history of Overtown, a predominantly Black neighborhood in Miami, during the era of legal segregation. Titled “Anything but a Slum: Miami-Overtown Before I-95/395,” the exhibition runs through Friday, Nov. 1, offering an exploration of a community that flourished despite systemic challenges.
